Teleconferences from Word

Our programme of telephone conferences continues in 2007. We will be re-running the most popular conferences, as well as adding some new topics. The conferences provide tenants and residents with the skills needed to tackle some of the key issues facing our communities today.

Topics to be covered include:

The conferences will take place on Wednesday evenings, 7-8pm. For more information on each of these topics, click on the conference title.

How do I book?

To book a place, please fill out the booking form. Each conference costs £60 plus VAT, including a guide to the topic to being discussed. The guides can also be bought separately for £20 plus VAT. Teleconferences will run subject to sufficient numbers signing up.

How does a telephone conference work?

All you need to take part is a telephone. Up to ten 10 people are linked with a lead speaker who has in-depth knowledge on the topic to be discussed. They introduce the subject and get the discussion started and a chairperson facilitates the call to make sure the discussion runs smoothly.

All participants are sent an information pack on the subject to be discussed several days before the conference. We then call you on the telephone number you supply at the time the conference is due to start. After the conference we produce a brief feedback report outlining the key messages.
