Word Association regularly works with a variety of different engineering businesses, helping to promote new products and win business at home and overseas.

One of our clients is Wickman Engineering, the world-renowned Coventry-based toolmaker. We have produced a number of sales brochures on their behalf which required us to research and write detailed technical specifications of new machines and to have these translated into several different languages as part of the company's international sales programme. Quality photography also had to be commissioned, together with a design which focused attention on the main selling points of the products.

Word Association works with Sodi-Tech Limited, the UK distributor for top-of-the-range Japanese drilling and wire-cutting machines. Our assignments have included:

• producing full page colour advertisements for Precision Toolmaker magazine
• developing a media relations programme to promote their presence at an international trade fair
• researching, writing, photographing, designing and printing a newsletter to raise the firm's profile with customers and establish their name as the market leader.
