Leicestershire PR firm shortlisted for top award

BOOK 4

We have won through to the finals of the PR industry’s most prestigious awards, having beat off competition from hundreds of organisations across the globe to be shortlisted in the CIPR Excellence Awards 2014.
We are one of six finalists in the running for the Best External Publication award in recognition of a commemorative book our team produced for Midlands social landlord whg.
‘The Home That Jack Built’, designed to celebrate whg’s 10th anniversary, centres on the life of 87-year-old Jack Haddock, one of their longest standing customers who has lived in the same house since 1927.
Featuring Jack’s reminiscences and photos, the book tells his story alongside the history of Walsall’s social housing and the achievements of whg.
We have been selected from 700 Excellence Awards entries and, as a finalist, we will now face a panel interview with some of the 80 expert judges.
The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony in London on 17th June.
Mark Thomas, Chief Executive of Word Association, said: “It is a real honour to have our work shortlisted in the PR profession’s most prestigious awards.
“We are very proud of The Home That Jack Built’ and we are delighted that it has received this national recognition.”
Judges Lionel Zetter and Helen Dickinson said: “Making the CIPR Excellence Awards shortlist marks you out as being among the most professional, creative and outstanding in the business.”
