Shopping centre publicity events
Client: EMHomeBuy
Project: Shopping centre publicity events
Background
Word Association drew up a full marketing strategy to raise awareness of EMHomeBuy and promote its affordable housing schemes. The strategy included publicity events, advertising, a media relations campaign, website updates, production of newsletters and promotional material.
Objective
To organise promotional events in busy shopping centres across the East Midlands. The aim was to reach more members of the public, raising awareness of EMHomeBuyâs products and generating more inquiries about its schemes.
Our role
Word Association organised four awareness-raising events over the spring and summer of 2010. They took place at shopping centres in Northampton, Lincoln, Nottingham and Derby. Four staff were on hand to promote EMHomeBuy at each event, with the stand comprising two pull-up displays and a podium. Branded giveaways and promotional literature were also handed out to visitors.
Results
The events led to EMHomeBuy staff meeting hundreds of potential customers and handing out 410 leaflets and information packs. There has already been a direct sale as a result of our event in Nottingham and there are a number of other enquiries now working their way through the system.
