While the Olympics have been headline news during the past few months, Word Association has been helping Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council go for gold! The consultancy devised a Olympics themed campaign to encourage residents to get involved in helping their Council become the very best it can in preparation for its Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) in July. A special logo based on the Olympics rings was created and a decathlon of key services was launched by Nuneaton Olympic hopeful, swimmer Adam Whitehead. This involves putting 10 key services under the spotlight to show how the Council is performing against targets. A comprehensive A-Z of Council services was also produced. "CPA is a like an Olympics for councils with the highest rated councils getting a gold," explained PR Director, Julie Horwood. "The results of the CPA will be out in October and we hope that we have helped the Council become as successful as Team GB." |
