MAJOR CHANGES REAP SUCCESS

Word Association is all set for a summer of success with the launch of a brand new corporate identity, new services, new staff and major expansion underway!

The consultancy’s new corporate identity has been created by Word Association’s Design & Production Manager, Steve Williams, in bold orange and burnt umber with the strapline, ‘Where Communication Changes Lives’.

"Our award-winning communications campaigns have been making a real difference to the lives of people UK-wide for many years," explained Chief Executive, Mark Thomas. "We wanted to reflect this in our new corporate identity which combines contemporary stylised figures with a striking triangle pointing skywards, illustrating that we are continuously on the up and up."

During the past 12 months, Word Association has certainly been heading in the right direction. It has achieved a turnover of £3/4 million, making it one of the top 10 regional consultancies.

The introduction of additional services, combined with its planned expansion into the South West, will ensure that it continues to develop and grow, offering a first class service and achieving excellent results for clients time after time.

Even More Services

An even broader range of services is now offered by Word Association.

New research and training services have been introduced following client requests. Tailor-made research campaigns, which gain both qualitative and quantitative information, can be created to meet individual needs. These include reader surveys, image and awareness campaigns, and satisfaction surveys.

A host of training is now also available, with courses designed to meet each client brief. Various training events and workshops can be organised to cover subjects including dealing with the media, promoting your organisation and encouraging local participation.

Expansion Underway

Word Association is expanding into the South West with the opening of a regional office in Bath.

New Account Director, Richard Blows has been appointed to head the office, which will focus on developing business throughout the South West and the M4 corridor.

Richard brings more than 10 years’ experience in housing and regeneration to Word Association. He was previously Operations Director at the Quest Trust, a national communications charity which helps tenants share ideas and information about regeneration. He also spent five years developing and managing three major regeneration projects in Greenwich.

Word Association’s team has been strengthened further with the appointment of Lisa Friswell as Administration Assistant. Lisa provides support to the whole team to ensure that clients receive a service which is second to none.
