kfm shopfittersClient: KFM SHOPFITTERS, Solihull

Project: Corporate identity and corporate brochure

Background: KFM provide shopfitting work for leisure centres, pubs and clubs throughout the country.

Objective: To design a more professional, appropriate and up-to-date logo for KFM. The company's previous logo gave the impression they were domestic builders when they are, in fact, shopfitters and master craftsmen working for corporate clients only. To produce a high quality brochure that showcases the company's work.

Description: A typographic logo in maroon and black using a classic font in which the serifs are joined to create an ageless effect. A glossy, laminated high design brochure featuring quality photos and punchy copy.

Our role: To reinvent the look of the company and implement it in the company's stationery and brochure.

The challenge: Account director, Sarah Thomas, said: "Logos can be a very personal thing and you don't produce successful ones by chance. With KFM we followed our usual approach of research, initial rough designs, detailed visuals of preferred options, then full implementation."

Feedback: Director Ken Moore said: "We operate in a modern fast-track industry yet employ time served master craftsmen. Word Association's work on our logo and brochure successfully combined these two very different sides of our business."
