A surefire new brand
Client: British Gas
Project: Re-branding a green energy scheme
We moved fast to create a cosy new image for a British Gas scheme giving people the chance to make the most of a number of green initiatives for their home.
British Gas asked us to provide a complete new image for a scheme offering residents the chance to make the most of opportunities offered by the Government’s Green Deal and ECO (Energy Company Obligation) funding.
They wanted us to move quickly on the project, which involved devising a name and identity for the scheme as well as creating a website, exhibition material and other promotional and marketing literature.
We presented a variety of names to British Gas and their partners, whg, and they chose Surefire, which emphasised the certainty of the scheme’s financial and green benefits as well as the cosy result in people’s homes.
The accompanying logo also highlighted Surefire’s warming nature, and was used as part of an overall marketing strategy which promoted the scheme to whg customers, as well as making it an attractive proposition to other potential partners.
We met the two-week deadline we were given to turn the brief into a new identify and get the brand into the consumer and industry marketplace.
