Project: Shopping centre publicity events
Promotional events in busy shopping centres across the East Midlands raised awareness of the affordable housing schemes run by EMHomeBuy.
Word Association drew up a full marketing strategy to raise awareness of EMHomeBuy and promote its affordable housing schemes. The strategy included publicity events, advertising, a media relations campaign, website updates, production of newsletters and promotional material.
We organised promotional events at shopping centres in Northampton, Lincoln, Nottingham and Derby. The aim was to reach more members of the public, raise awareness of EMHomeBuy’s products and generate more inquiries.
Four staff promoted EMHomeBuy at each event, with a stand comprising two pull-up displays and a podium. Branded giveaways and promotional literature were also handed out.
The events led to EMHomeBuy staff meeting hundreds of potential customers and handing out 410 leaflets and information packs. There was a direct sale as a result of our event in Nottingham, and the number of “hits” on their website doubled to more than 14,000 a day.
