Project: Annual Report and infographics
We have so far produced four annual reports for Newport City Homes – with each having a different approach and theme, but all putting their tenants at the heart of the process.
We have created four attractive and readable reports based around the lives of their tenants and communities, with the addition of a digital ‘infographic’ for the latest report. To involve residents in the process we’ve facilitated meetings with tenants where they’ve raised a range of issues. Their views have been feed back to the appropriate teams, enabling residents to contribute to the policies set out in each report.
Each report has included engaging images, easy-to-read performance and financial information, real-life stories and all their strategic messages.
The 2 ½ minute infographic we produced for them in 2013 used graphics, images and key wording to provide a more modern, digital, version of their annual report. We involved tenants in the process and were delighted it was given a ‘resident approved’ stamp by one of their resident involvement groups. The infographic can also be linked from their website and is easily downloaded and printed.
We went through a tendering process before being awarded the contract for each annual report, after receiving positive feedback from staff and tenants.
