Creative branding to launch new service
Client: whg - Life Direct
Project: Creative branding for new support service
Social landlord whg won a contract to provide a signposting support service for over-50s on behalf of Wolverhampton City Council, including opening a city centre one-stop shop.
whg wanted to create a stand-alone brand which would appeal to that age group but reflect a young, vibrant feel. Our team worked creatively to come up with a name – Life Direct – and logo for the new service, and this well-received branding was rolled out across the shop, literature and website. We also produced brand guidelines to ensure it retained its impact.
Jayne Cooper, Older Person’s Services Manager at whg, said: “We were not sure exactly what we were looking for in terms of branding but Word Association worked closely with us to come up with a choice of options, resulting in a brand that really fitted the brief and which has now become instantly recognisable in Wolverhampton.”
