Breathing new life into tenant newsletter
Client: Stroud District Council
Project: ‘Keynotes’ newsletter for tenants
Stroud District Council asked us to rejuvenate its tired-looking tenant newsletter after a survey revealed many residents were less than impressed with it.
We revamped the quarterly Keynotes with a vibrant, colourful design and overhauled its content to ensure a varied mix of engaging, informative articles.
Throughout the production process, we work closely with the editorial panel to make sure we deliver a newsletter that residents enjoy.
As a result, the latest survey showed that 95% like Keynotes and 95.7% find it easy to read – a big improvement on the original survey.
Stuart Strathearn, Resident Involvement Officer at Stroud District Council, said: “I’ve been very impressed by Word Association’s working relationship with the editorial panel, particularly the tenant members. Our recent readers’ survey shows that Keynotes is well balanced with a good mix of corporate, local information and news stories. It is more accessible and widely read as a result.”
