3D art is stark warning of welfare black hole
Client: Wellingborough Homes
Project: 3D art to highlight welfare reform crisis
Housing Association Wellingborough Homes asked us to come up with an innovative way to highlight the impact of impending benefit changes to coincide with a conference it was hosting.
We used a street artist who created a striking 3D image in Wellingborough town centre featuring a crater to represent the black hole debt facing residents at risk of benefit cuts.
It also inluded a bridge to the door of FISH (Free Impartial Support and Help) shop to raise public awareness of the support available there.
Wellingborough Homes is one of the organisations which run the unique advice centre, and it had staff on hand to engage with the many shoppers who stopped to look at the 3D creation.
