Leicestershire company scores a hat trick
Business is booming for Leicestershire-based PR and design agency Word Association as it scores a hat trick with the winning of three new contracts. The rapidly expanding communications consultancy – ranked 13th in PR Week’s public sector league table – has secured work with EMHomeBuy, Lyng Community Association and Gloucestershire Housing Association.
Work for EMHomeBuy involves developing a press, PR and marketing campaign to raise awareness of the range of schemes it offers to help people on to the housing ladder. Word Association has already run a successful series of roadshow events to promote the products. The contract for Lyng Community Association includes creating a new website, refreshing the association’s logo, carrying out a residents’ survey and drawing up a full communications strategy to publicise Lyng’s large-scale regeneration project in West Bromwich. Word Association will be working on Gloucestershire Housing Association’s residents’ and corporate annual reports. The contract follows GHA’s interest in Word Association’s “toolkit” to help housing associations produce such reports.
Mark Thomas, chief executive of Word Association, said: “We are delighted to welcome EMHomeBuy, Lyng Community Association and Gloucestershire Housing Association to our family of clients. “These are exciting times at Word Association and we look forward to working on these high-profile campaigns. “Winning these contracts is a tribute to the 20 years’ experience and extensive knowledge we have of the social housing sector.”
