Word in national PR league table

Word Association has beaten off competition from agencies nationally to appear in a league table of top performing PR consultancies.

PR Week, the trade journal for the public relations industry, listed Word Association as the 13th largest consultancy working with the public sector.

The listing, based on turnover in 2008, ranks Word Association ahead of a number of high profile London agencies and shows the company to be the largest in the East Midlands region.  Word Association chief executive Mark Thomas said: “It’s the first time we’ve appeared in a major industry league table and the whole team are excited by the news.

“Despite the recession we’ve been growing steadily over the last couple of years and it’s great to know that we are now a big player in this important sector.”

As well as public relations, Word Association offers a full marketing service to its clients including design, events, publications and websites.  Although it has successfully built a reputation in the public sector, it also works for commercial businesses of all sizes throughout the country.
